Dark Forces would later morph into the Jedi Knight video game series with Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II in 1997. Other enhancements include an improved save system, fully custom key bindings and improved Boba Fett AI. The Force Engine will also allow for full mouselook support, which will give it a much more modern game feel. The Force Engine is now at version 1.0 and available to download, featuring some notable enhancements to the original such as widescreen support, higher resolutions and a mod loader that will give players an easily accessible directory for additional mods.
